Sony Ericsson K850i Camera Phone, This Is The Future
Sony Ericsson's K850i is the latest in offering from the Swedish mobile maker. It sports a Cybershot series logo which is the latest trend Sony is introducing by labeling its phones in terms of its successful consumer electronics family like the Walkman series and lately Cybershot series. But the k850i does like promote its Cybershot name as it gives one of the best shooting performance in entire mobile industry at the moment.
The phone comes in a candy bar form but with quite a lot of radical changes. The weight of the handset is mere 120 grams. The body of the handset has been very artistically designed by the designers at Sony, which is quite a relief from the plastic looking design of W960i which was released just recently. The screen is wonderfully bring and has extremely good contrast which is even better than its predecessor K810's screen.
The size of the screen is 2.2inch which is not a feature to boast about as almost each handset at the moment comes with at least a 2.4 inch screen. However the best feature of this phone is the camera which is has a 5megapixel sensor with auto focus and a resolution of 2592x1944pixels.

The camera looks very decent and simple at the back with true feel of a digicam. The battery compartment of the phone also has the same feel of a digicam as the battery is inserted straight through the bottom of the handset where most Sony phones have their fast-port.
However the biggest let down of this phone is that it has poor video shooting capability of QVGA at 30frames per second where many of the Nokia phones are giving true VGA shooting at 30frames per second. If Sony could improve upon that then I think that it has every quality of an excellent camera phone.
