The CyberShot is one of the best cameras I have every used. When I received this camera I was kind of iffy because I am very much into camcorders and the ability for long time recording. While this camera maybe small and lightweight, the power and capabilities are about the same. The first thing I notice is the sliding up feature, which can turn the camera on very fast. Some cameras you have to push a button, wait for a second, and then shoot. While this camera does have this feature, it also has the quick on feature that allows you to slide up and shoot.

Another great feature to this camera is that the cybershot has the actual camera lens built into the camera itself. If you ever looked at handheld cameras, most of them have the camera lens that slide out when you turn the camera, I personally do not like that because it is not very sleek that way. This camera has the same ability to zoom in and out with good pixel imaging and zoom speed.

The CyberShot has the flash option which is very useful in very dark rooms, have you have taken a picture in the dark? I bet you have, I know have and it usually does not turn out good. I even tried to use my other Sony Handycam to take a picture in the dark and it comes out bad. I really like that this has the bright flash built into it. Plus it has the automatic timer that again my other camera does not carry.

Now here is the really cool part about the Sony CyberShot, it is a camcorder as well. You can record and it records audio no problem, extremely well. I have brought it into many of places to record and the recording is awesome! You can zoom in and out as well as review the recording with a push of a button, you do not have to go into another mode and exit the recording mode. You are able to view right after you record that is the same for the taking of pictures. The last thing about this camera is that it can carry SD cards up to 4gigs. That is like over 5,000 pictures and like 500 videos depending on the length and quality. I totally recommend this product to anyone who wants to buy a camera.
